3rd Class Experiment…

Third Class have been busy! We have been making mathematical language posters, researching Na hOileáin Arann (The Aran Islands) and doing paper weaving. We’ve hardly any space left on the walls! We also had our photograph taken beside our stories of Our Aspirations for 2012. The Heineken Cup was brought to our class and Miss Farrell had a tough time keeping the class from hopping into it! We planted some bulbs and seeds and are hoping that we have lovely flowering plants in a few months time!

Science Week

This week is Science Week and 3rd Class learned about electric circuits.  We made homes and we lit them up with bulbs  powered by batteries.

We designed and made a bungalow.We used electricity to light up our bungalow.
The materials we used were cotton wool, rice, stones, paper,
cardboard, lollypop sticks, felt paper, paint, Lego, dog toys, wood [...]
